16 Nonprofits Compete to Win Marketing Services
In May, we announced the Mission in Motion contest for local nonprofits. Through a partnership with the TCU School of Strategic Communication, we are awarding free branding/marketing services to three nonprofits in the DFW area. Our goal for the contest is to help those who spend their time helping others and also to bring more attention to some of the nonprofit organizations in our community. We’re currently one week in to the online voting process and have one week left. There are 16 nonprofits competing for the services and supporters can vote for their charity of choice once per day.
- Victory Therapy Center
- The Ladder Alliance
- Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth
- AIDS Outreach Center
- Optimist Club of Fort Worth
- Career Design Foundation
- BIND: Brain Injury Network of Dallas
- Irving – The Main Place
- The Arc of Dallas
- Trinity Habitat for Humanity
- Averting CAT-astrophe, Inc.
- Mid-Cities Care Corps
- Community Enrichment Center
- YMCA of Arlington
When all the votes are in on July 27th, the top five nonprofits will be invited to present in front of a panel. The panel will be made up of local business leaders, media personnel, TCU professors and Immotion Studios representatives. Three nonprofits will be selected to win services based on criteria provided prior to the panel presentation. The 1st place winner will receive $8,000 in services from Immotion Studios. The two-runner ups will each receive 300 hours worth of services from TCU’s School of Strategic Communications in the academic year 2015-2016.
We are pleased to announce we’ve already received thousands of votes! With just one week left in our contest we hope that the support continues for all of our nonprofits and we look forward to announcing our top five candidates when the voting period ends. To vote go here. Good luck to all our nonprofits and we look forward to meeting with our finalists during the final panel interviews!
